Nature Framed | Thanksgiving
As I picked the last few remaining flowers from my garden, to create this Thanksgiving wreath photograph, I reminisced on the year that we will soon leave behind.
2020 has been an unbelievable year in more ways than one. We could be starring in a Hollywood movie (Contagion? Groundhog Day? The Twilight Zone? Take your pick).
While 2020 may have challenged us, inhibited us and simultaneously stretched us to new limits, it surely made us more flexible, creative and resilient.
And gave us the precious gift of time.
I had heard someone say a few months ago-
If you emerge from the pandemic the same person as you went in, then it's not because you lacked time...
The pandemic offered a time to slow down and focus on what's really important. I had more time to devote to the people who are most important to me and reconnect with those I had lost touch with. More time to explore things that I love to do. More time to develop new habits, new rituals, new exercise routines, resurrect forgotten hobbies and explore new interests.
There's a lot to be thankful for in 2020.
Happy Thanksgiving!
